Short Bio
Christian Borjon began his career as a retail trader in 2010, mainly focused on technical analysis and strategies around it. He started as a swing trader, as he used to work in another industry unrelated to the financial markets. Christian got deeply involved in the interbank currency dealing in 2018 when he started working in Citibanamex (Citigroup’s branch in Mexico) on the FX Sales Market Maker side, focusing on the Consumer and Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) segment. Christian primarily traded the USD/MXN pair, but he also operated the Mexican peso versus the CAD, CHF, GBP, and EUR. Christian is based in Mexico.

Christian joined FX Street in July 2021 as an FX News editor, covering the North American session. He writes asset news and technical analysis articles on diverse currency pairs, mainly focused on the majors, JPY crosses, and commodities.
